General Information

Established in the academic year 2016-17, our department takes pride in offering esteemed Master of Commerce programs that are designed to nurture future leaders in the fields of business, finance, and commerce. The Department offers programs which include specialized streams in Business Management, Advanced Accountancy, and Banking and Finance. Each program is meticulously crafted to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of their chosen field, coupled with practical insights and real-world applications.

About the Program:

The MCom program at Patkar-Varde College is tailored to meet the evolving needs of the business world, providing students with a solid foundation in theoretical concepts as well as practical application. With a strong focus on industry-relevant skills and experiential learning, our program aims to prepare students for successful careers in various sectors of commerce and finance. The program spans over two years. The first year being common for all the three streams and the second year specialized into the respective stream.

Areas of Specialization: M.Com. Banking and Finance:

In the Banking and Finance specialization, students will explore the intricacies of banking operations, financial markets, and investment analysis. They will learn about banking regulations, risk management, and portfolio management techniques, preparing them for roles in banking, investment firms, and financial institutions.
